FLO-2D Software, Inc. presents numerous short courses each year around the world. These classes range in length from 2 to 4 days and can be tailored to the participants interests. The classes can focus on specific flooding problems such as mud and debris flows, levee and dam breaks, urban flooding or modeling overland tsunami waves and storm surges. Short course details such as the agenda, hotel or conference center location, and registration are posted at least one month prior to the course. International Short Courses are generally organized with a local agency or institution. Classes may be presented in the local language and a translator can be used if necessary. The number of attendees is unlimited but generally less than 25 participants is comfortable and you can invite agency personnel or clients. Typically office short course prices ranges from $8,000 to $12,000 depending on location, length of class and number of participants. It may be cost effective for a company to organize a FLO-2D Short Course at their office when considering the cost of sending employees to attend a short course in another city.
